Back in 2004, New Cairo was mostly desert and empty streets. Our family decided to start something small but meaningful: a stationery shop that would inspire creativity and learning in every child.

A name full of magic
Our parents named it “Alam Semsem Alageeb” to stand for imagination, friendship and the magic of childhood. A place where kids begin their journeys: drawing their first line, writing their first story, packing their first school bag.
We grew up with the city
From a quiet neighbourhood, we grew alongside New Cairo into one of Egypt’s most vibrant cities. What started as a family business became a local favourite: a place parents trust and children love to visit.
Four shops, one family
Today, from our four shops and online, we keep serving generations of dreamers, students and creators. Every notebook, colour and pen still carries a little piece of our story.
